Academic programs who would like their students to be paid for winter 2017 at the end of December must meet the deadlines listed on this page.
Fall (December) 2016 graduation and filing deadlines are fast approaching. Please take the time to check with your December 2016 candidates, review their files, and note the important steps that you all need to take leading up to December 2016 graduation.
As a reminder, nominations for the Presidential Fellowship, TGS’s most prestigious award, are due Monday, November 28, 2016.
I write to remind you that the deadline for submission of Presidential Fellowship nominations is Monday, November 28, 2016.
The fall quarter DGS meeting will be held on October 13, 2016 from 3:00-4:30 pm.
As we approach the end of the 2016 fiscal year, the deadline to have all funding entered into SES for fiscal year 2016 (aid year 2016) managed by TGS, including University Fellowships, Graduate Assistantships, RAS, and other special funding, is Friday, August 12, 2016, so these expenses are allocated in the appropriate fiscal year.
Academic programs that want their students to register by the first billing in June, and be paid on the first pay date at the end of June.

The Graduate School will transition to CollegeNET, our new application and review platform, for the 2016-17 application season and beyond, in early September.
The following are The Graduate School’s (TGS) tuition rates, Research Assistant Scholarship (RAS), health insurance premium, and student Activity Fee for 2016-17.
Beginning on June 1, TGS will begin processing Activity Fee waivers up to 3 quarters (or 9 months) retroactively.
The spring quarter DGS meeting will be held on April 14, 2016 from 3:00-4:30 pm.

Monday classes will be held on Tuesday, March 29 for most Evanston campus schools.
