Graduate Students of Color Wellness and Support Group

Modified: March 16, 2017
Graduate Students of Color Wellness and Support Group

Graduate school is a high-demand learning environment, and the demand can be even greater when coupled with the unique stressors carried by graduate students of color. The purpose of the Graduate Students of Color Wellness and Support Group is to provide a dedicated supportive space that fosters meaningful group discussion surrounding the importance of wellness and self-care.

Group participants will have opportunities to learn and practice culturally relevant wellness methods and techniques. Participants will also learn how to re-define and prioritize self-care and wellness through weekly group discussions. This group is open to all self-identified graduate students of color. The group will be held on the 3rd floor of Searle Hall every Wednesday from 4:00 PM - 5:30 PM beginning April 5th through May 31th. To register or for more information, please visit the website.
