Mentored Discussions of Teaching (MDT)

Modified: December 4, 2017
Mentored Discussions of Teaching (MDT) is a one-quarter program where graduate students and postdocs learn about and discuss teaching and learning in the STEM and SBE fields.  This Winter quarter, the program begins on January 16.

The program is flexible and built to accommodate the busy lives of graduate students and postdocs.  Participants are matched with a faculty mentor to meet with and observe several sessions of their course.  Participants also attend three group meetings where they discuss literature about teaching and learning and share their perspectives from their teaching observations.  More information about the program requirements and meeting dates can be found on our website.

If you are interested in participating in MDT during the Winter quarter, please fill out this short application survey by December 17.  Please direct any questions to Lauren Woods (Postdoctoral Fellow, Searle Center for Advancing Learning and Teaching).
