Science & Religion? What Do Scientists Really Think

Modified: November 8, 2017

The Graduate Christian Fellowship will be hosting Rice University Sociologist, Elaine Howard Ecklund November 15, 7-9 PM at Norris University Center, Lake Room (Rm. 203). She will share her findings from her research surveying almost 1,700 scientists from elite universities in the United States. Her work considers how scientists perceive science and faith relating to each other, and explores potential paths for profitable engagement between these two seemingly disparate areas. Some of her research has already been published in Science vs. Religion: What Scientists Really Think.

Dinner will be provided. Please RSVP so food (including dietary restrictions) and logistics may be properly planned for.
