Learn More about Spending Accounts

The Benefits Division offers information sessions to increase staff awareness of the benefit plans available to them. February's session is titled, "Understanding your Flexible Spending Account (FSA) and Health Savings Account (HSA) in 2018." This event is intended to explain how to best use your FSA and HSA dollars and understand how the Payflex system works, including online account setup.
During this session, we will discuss:
  • FSA/HSA plan details
  • Debit card use and filing claims with Payflex
  • Setting up an online account with Payflex
  • Dependent Care FSA and the Northwestern reimbursement program
  • IRS regulations and deadlines for filing
Sessions will run on both campuses and registration is not required.
  • Chicago Campus: February 6, Noon - 1 p.m., Robert H. Lurie Medical Research Center, Grey Seminar Room.
