The Graduate School is committed to fostering an equitable and inclusive environment for all members of the Northwestern community. Faculty and staff are encouraged to explore our resources, including the Equity in Graduate Education (EGE) Consortium, which offers workshops on equity-minded mentoring practices; the Bias Reporting System, a mechanism for addressing incidents of bias or discrimination; and the Diversity and Inclusion Advisory Council (DIAC), which provides strategic guidance on diversity initiatives and includes representatives from graduate students, postdocs, faculty, alumni, and employer partners. Together, these resources empower faculty to advance diversity, equity, and inclusion within their programs and beyond.
