Graduation
In order for The Graduate School (TGS) to award a degree, students must meet degree requirements and file the appropriate graduation forms by the deadlines published in the academic calendar.
Filing for graduation
Graduation checklists, including information about graduation requirements and forms, are available for students finishing requirements for the master’s degree, and for students finishing requirements for the PhD.
Surveys
In addition to the graduation requirements, students in TGS are requested to complete surveys in order to provide feedback to their graduate experience and post-graduation plans.

Receiving your diploma
Review the Graduation and Diploma Mailing Policy for more information about the timing for mailing diplomas. Certificates of Completion are also available.
NetID and student email account after graduation
The NetID will expire 148 days after a student’s final degree is conferred, per the NetID expiration timeline.
