G-ISA Leadership Committee Recruitment 2021

Are you looking for a chance to meet more people and plan fun events? Do you want to be the bridge to diverse cultures? If so, consider joining the Graduate International Student Association (G-ISA) leadership committee!

G-ISA is now recruiting to fill social event leaders, outreach and communications coordinator positions. Position descriptions are as follows: 

Communications coordinator will:

  • Be responsible for checking G-ISA emails, promptly responding to requests and other communications
  • Publicize events through our email list, Facebook page and other resources in a timely manner.
  • Attend weekly meetings with the G-ISA board

Event leaders will:

  • Assist in the planning, organization and execution of social events (remotely) once a month. 
  • Attend weekly meetings with the G-ISA board.
  • Explore potential collaboration opportunities with other student groups; attending other collaboration events.

Outreach coordinator will:

  • Reach out and connect with other student or university organizations for collaboration;
  • Publicity work (social media) alongside communication coordinator;
  • Attend weekly 1-hr meetings with the G-ISA board.

(Bonus) Website administrator:
Do you have any experience in managing websites or would like a chance to try it out? We have the perfect position for you here at G-ISA! This position can be tagged with any other previous position, and we're also open to considering a stand-alone position. Just let us know!
