Graduate Assistantship with OIDI
Professor Robin R. Means Coleman, Vice President/Associate Provost of Diversity and Inclusion and the Ida B. Wells and Ferdinand Barnett Professor of Communication Studies, seeks to hire a graduate student to assist with her scholarly research and University administrative work. The primary responsibilities of this role will include conducting research, and drafting articles, conference papers, and presentations related to diversity, equity, and inclusion, with the possibility for co-authorship. This role will also assist in maintaining Prof. Coleman’s scholarly research program by conducting research, and drafting articles focused on Blacks and media. Finally, the student will be an integral part of the Office of Institutional Diversity and Inclusion, will be regarded as part of the learning community in the office, and will serve as a role model to undergraduate students in the office’s learning community.
