Active Learning in STEM Course and Learning Community

Learn how to engage students with active learning through the CIRTL (Center for the Integration of Research, Teaching and Learning) MOOC (Massive Open Online Course), “Advancing Learning Through Evidence-Based STEM Teaching.” Topics include peer instruction, problem-based learning, inquiry-based labs, and flipped classrooms. Connect with Northwestern MOOC participants through a MOOC-Centered Learning Community (MCLC) to enhance your learning experience and keep yourself on track with course material.

Register today for both the MOOC and the MCLC.  The MOOC begins Monday, February 4 and the MCLC meets on Fridays from 1:00 - 2:00 PM beginning Friday, February 15.

Check out the CIRTL at Northwestern website to learn more about both of these opportunities, and please direct any questions to Lauren Woods (Assistant Director, CIRTL at Northwestern, Searle Center for Advancing Learning and Teaching).
