Graduate Student Appreciation Week

Graduate Student Appreciation Week (GSAW) is a nationally recognized celebration highlighting the contributions, value, and impact of graduate students.  It is a terrific opportunity to celebrate and recognize our PhD and master's students in The Graduate School (TGS)!

Northwestern’s Graduate Student Association (GSA) began celebrating GSAW in 2014 and has since joined efforts with the Chicago Graduate Student Association (CGSA) and TGS to continue the tradition, compiling a full week of in-person and virtual events each year to honor and celebrate our graduate community. With support from a wide array of campus partners, TGS provides a host of GSAW giveaways and events to facilitate professional development and promote wellness and social involvement.
