Introduction to STEM Teaching Course and Learning Community
Learn about evidence-based STEM teaching through this 8-week online course and an Evanston or Chicago on-campus learning community offered through the Center for the Integration of Research, Teaching, and Learning (CIRTL) at Northwestern. Register by Tuesday, June 25.

Program Description
Learn how to implement effective teaching strategies in the college classroom through the CIRTL MOOC (Massive Open Online Course) “An Introduction to Evidence-Based STEM Undergraduate Teaching.” Topics include active learning, assessment, and inclusive teaching.
Connect with Northwestern MOOC participants through a MOOC-Centered Learning Community (MCLC) to keep yourself on track with course material and enhance your learning experience.
Register today for both the MOOC and the MOOC-Centered Learning Community (MCLC). The MOOC begins on Monday, June 24 and the MCLC, which also begins the week of June 24, on both Evanston and Chicago campuses. Evanston MCLCs meet on Mondays from 4:00 - 5:00 PM or on Fridays from 1:00 - 2:00 PM, and the Chicago campus MCLC meets on Wednesday from 5:00 - 6:00 PM.
