Management for Scientists and Engineers Program Reception, 2019
On Monday, August 5, 2019, The Graduate School (TGS) and Kellogg School of Management hosted a celebration to honor the most recent PhD candidates to complete the Management for Scientists and Engineers (MSE) certificate program.
Launched in 2008, the MSE program provides unique opportunities for talented graduate students to learn business practices from top Kellogg business professors. The program is designed specifically for scientists, engineers, and those in closely related professions to provide foundational knowledge and skills in core business disciplines.
The newest graduates celebrated the completion of the program at Gordon’s Marketplace in the Kellogg Global Hub with light appetizers, drinks, and the company of their classmates, professors, and university staff. Professor James Conley, Clinical Professor of Innovation & Entrepreneurship in the Kellogg Center for Research in Technology & Innovation, thanked the students for their outstanding work and congratulated them on completing the program. He also thanked Kellogg Program Development Manager Julie Gertz for her support and partnership in organizing the program.
