Attend the Chicago KUH FORWARD Annual Symposium
Attend the Third Annual Symposium on Kidney, Urology, and Hematology (KUH) Research on Wednesday, May 22 from 2:00–5:00 PM at the Simpson Querrey Biomedical Research Center. Co-hosted by Chicago KUH Forward and the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine, this free conference will feature a keynote presentation and a networking reception, and also invites proposals for a scientific poster session.
Symposium Schedule:
- 2:00–3:00 PM – Keynote Presentation
- Regulation of innate immune signaling by RUNX1 by Nancy Speck, PhD, John W. Eckman Professor in Medical Science II at the University of Pennsylvania
- 3:00–5:00 PM – Poster Session & Networking Reception
This event is intended for basic, clinical and translational scientists across Chicago who are engaged in kidney, benign urology, or benign hematology research. Chicago KUH FORWARD is a NIH/NIDDK TL1 training program, however, trainees from other training programs are welcome to attend and invited to present a poster on research that is relevant to benign or non-cancerous kidney, urology, or hematology research.
