Kelsey Wright | PhD Candidate, Northwestern University Interdepartmental Neuroscience (NUIN)
Student Award
“Kelsey has made tangible improvements to Northwestern, our lab, and any student who crosses her path. She is a model graduate student, inside and outside the lab, and is always there to support others. Her kindness and thoughtfulness are her greatest strengths.”
Dayna C. Patterson, PhD | HHMI Hanna Gray Postdoctoral Fellow, Rosenzweig Lab, Department of Molecular Biosciences, Weinberg College of Arts & Sciences
Postdoctoral Trainee Award
“Dayna is a positive role model and leader. She is one of those rare individuals who doesn't just talk the talk when it comes to diversity and service; she walks the walk. Indeed, she has lived the walk and is intent on getting more Black scientists to follow in her footsteps.”
